Serj will perform a long-awaited, FREE open-air concert in Yerevan as the featured artist of the opening events of Tumo Center for Creative Technologies (http://www.tumo.org/).

The concert will be held on August 14th, 2011 at Tumo and will be free and open to the public. Last summer, Serj’s first concert in Yerevan was attended by over 2,300 fans. This year, his free public concert, will be able to accommodate additional fans, which otherwise were not able to see his performance in 2010.

Accompanied by over 40 orchestral musicians, Serj will perform songs from the Elect the Dead Symphony to an estimated audience of 12,000. The conductor for the concert will be New Zealand’s Hamish McKeich, especially invited from Wellington.
